I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience specializing in helping adults and couples. I have extensive training in the treatment of anxiety, depression, life-transitions, infertility and family planning, adjustment difficulties, body image issues, self-esteem building, racial & cultural identity, academic/work challenges, trauma, family of origin issues, and stress management. I utilize a multidisciplinary approach integrating psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and interpersonal therapy.

I believe therapy is most helpful when done in an accepting and comfortable environment. I work collaboratively with my clients to assist them in attaining their personal goals, explore avenues for growth, and achieve emotional well-being. I understand that every individual and couple is unique and I approach treatment with this in mind. I know that each client enters therapy with specific strengths and I do my best to help them pull from those strengths. My approach to therapy can be described as compassionate, active, warm, and gently challenging.

Therapy is unique to each client, and thus it is tailored to fit the need of the client and their treatment goals. My goal is to aid clients in developing new insights, identifying unhelpful interpersonal and behavioral patterns, and creating meaningful change. I provide an environment that is non-judgmental, utilizing a caring and collaborative approach to help my clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I am passionate about providing services to a diverse community, specifically those who may be marginalized or struggle to access services.
