I have practiced as an LCSW since 1999. A graduate of Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois, I was initially licensed in Illinois. Moved to California in 2001 and have practiced here ever since. In 2020 during the pandemic, I wrote Pain Made Me Crazy and What I Did to Heal. My approach is client centered working with the client to help them achieve their needs and goals. As a former attorney, television producer and Certified Employee Assistance Counselor, my experience is varied and works well in relating to my clients. I believe everyone deserves respect and understanding. I come from a compassionate, accepting and guiding way. I believe in being directive, where necessary, and always understanding. I take an eclectic approach, from solution focused, to hypnotherapy, to career and health guidance, working with chronic pain and health issues, to relationships and more through different methodologies. My style is peppered with humor as well.
