Dr. Jacob Engelskirger is an enthusiastic Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessments in varied settings, including a chronic pain clinic, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, college and university counseling centers, a county jail, and community-based mental health clinics. He has worked extensively with adults of all ages, at all stages of life. In addition to his clinical work, he enjoys teaching, training, supervising, and mentoring budding psychologists and students. Dr. Engelskirger completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of California at San Diego and his graduate studies at John F. Kennedy University. Presently, he is in independent practice in Alameda, California. He enjoys surfing, skateboarding, and rock climbing in his spare time.
