Michel is a bilingual and bicultural licensed psychotherapist. She believes that psychotherapy should promote healing, self-awareness, and growth. Michel specializes in adoption issues, and treats a wide variety of issues including depression and anxiety. She has a warm, direct, and strength-based approach tailored to the individual; she utilizes a wide variety of psychotherapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, among others.
Michel obtained her master’s degree from San Diego State University in 2011 specializing in clinical practice. She has worked providing psychotherapy to vulnerable individuals and families, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, providing case management, and proving parenting education.
