Ernest Llynn Lotecka, PhD, has practiced behavioral health psychology for over three decades. He has worked with a wide range of clients on successful solutions to life’s challenges — especially complex PTSD, anxieties, depression, and social problems.

 

Born in Philadelphia, his home has been in San Diego County since 1976 –in North County, Hillcrest, and currently UTC. His education was at Drexel, Pennsylvania, Duquesne and Union universities. With a background in technology and systems engineering management, he is comfortable with tele-behavioral health and online self-development aids. He has worked with adults, children and families in a variety of outpatient, residential, home, and day programs including addiction treatment.

 

Dr. Lotecka’s professional approach emphasizes pragmatic coping with adversities and improving quality of relationships. The courses he has taught at National, Phoenix, and Southern New Hampshire universities and diverse San Diego organizations, focus on useful psychological concepts and their applications in everyday life.

 

His history includes community services and training as well as research through NIH, federal, state, and local grants. He is the director of APAL Communications Connections, manager of Sierra Club monthly presentations, and member of Research Gate, National Communications Association, Mensa, and Transpersonal Psychology.
