Dr. Jacqueline Herrera, Psy. D., earned her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in California. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at UT Health San Antonio and her postdoctoral fellowship at Clarity Child Guidance Center. Dr. Herrera, who is bilingual, English and Spanish, has provided psychotherapy and psychological assessments to children and adults in both languages. Dr. Herrera uses an integrative approach to treatment, conceptualizing from a family systems and psychodynamic perspective. Dr. Herrera is a member of Division 36, 39, and 52 of the American Psychological Association, the Bexar County Psychological Association, and the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. Dr. Herrera’s clinical interests include organizational consultation, global psychology, existential psychology, and spirituality.
