I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR). I graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in 2015.
My counseling style is client-centered, wholistic, and trauma-informed. I am interactive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental, and I use humor when appropriate. It is important that you feel connected with your therapist and can rapidly build trust and rapport. I provide practical tools and techniques that fit into your lifestyle and provide resources outside my expertise. I encourage feedback to be sure you are receiving the best use of your time to reach your treatment goals in a timely manner.
In the last 7 years, I have worked in crisis and community services, which provided me extensive experience in a wide range of evidence-based practices and the ability to work with diversified clientele, ages 13 – 90+.
My approach includes evidence-based techniques in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
